A little about me…

Hi, I am Natalie! I live in Fort Worth, Texas with my husband and three kiddos. I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to paint every day and make a career out of my passion.

I grew up in Washington, D.C., where my passion for art developed at an early age. I come from several generations of outstanding artists on both sides of my family. I grew up drawing with my mom every day and always said I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. In high school I began to study art more in depth, and focused mostly on charcoal figure and portrait studies. For college, I moved to Fort Worth, Texas, to attend TCU where I majored in child development and minored in studio art. I spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, specifically to study painting and drawing in one of the art capitals of the world. I felt called to start painting as a career after my first child was born. My career took off quickly from there, and it has been my greatest joy to be able to have the flexibility of staying home with my kids while also having a career that I love. Since I've started painting professionally, I have had the honor to paint portraits for several Fort Worth institutions such as Jewel Charity organization and Texas Wesleyan university, the university club in Washington DC, as well as oh so many families. My passion for portraiture stems from my love of people, and a desire to effectively express the uniqueness of each person. I hope to have the privilege of capturing your sweet child in a painting for you!
